I was called one morning from a principals' meeting because one of my students had broken his arm at the skating rink. I was able to give the EMTs and the hospital all of the information they needed (student birthday, allergies to medications, social security number, contact information, etc). They were so impressed, and I was relieved that I could call emergency numbers immediately so that the child's family could come quickly.
